Group Typology

NMK (Nefarious Maniac Kult) is one of the persistent nihilistic violent extremist groups in the Com Network created by users Arukk and Acid (Cameron Finnigan). Telegram data from 2024 would appear to indicate that NMK finds its roots in Occultism, Maniac Culture and Sadistic Online Extortion.

NMK borrow heavily from No Lives Matter, 764 and Maniac Murder Cult. The group is primarily involved in criminal activities around Extortion and IRL (in real life), as well as sextortion.

based on archival data, NMK members overlap heavily with OG Com-affiliated groups like 764, Kaskar, SlitTown, No Lives Matter, Incur, 657, 7997, Court; as well as, newer groups like 1378, Murder Vile Kult, Lilith, 1414 and 147. What all of these groups have in common is their primarily criminal activities are based in Extortion and IRL Com.

In looking at Com Poll and Com HoF channel (Hall of Fame) many users present themselves as belonging to long 'slash-lists' of Com groups where “/NMK/” appears alongside the above mentioned groups. Roughly 1130 messages use NMK in this stacked format, coming from about 225 distinct user handles. That is, NMK is consistently part of a prestige “bundle” rather than an isolated affiliation.

Original Owner of NMK, Original Roster and Alliances

Based on Com Network archives here is what can be gleamed from the early days of NKM
.
A) On January 6, 2024 Arukk forward a message– in a Telegram Channel called 555 (no Rules)– from "NMK x 764 Red Room": ROSTER Owner: Arukk Council: Acid Clique: Xavier/Slaz

B) On January 9, 2024 in the NMK channel a messaged was shared with the NMK x INCUR roster NMK Owner: Arukk Council: Acid Clique: Naro | INCUR Owner: Arukk Admin: Tears Clique: Acid, Trap, Ray

C) Also on January 9, 2024 in the NMK channel posted that "Incur has been brought back under leadership of Arukk / Godvert. More information later.-Инкур был возвращен под руководство Tears & Arukk.Дополнительная информация позже." The English message only mention Arukk, but the Russian version of the same message also includes Tears

D) On January 10 2024 NMK public chat is launched (the now defunct @nefariousmaniackult) and on January 11 recruitment messages are shared around Com "Recruitment for NMK is open, pm @arukkhaha if interested & capable. - Набор в NМК открыт, если интересно и способно, пишите в личку @arukkhaha."

E) On January 20 the NMK channel announces that "NMK is officially merged & partnered with 764, NMK will still be around just doing work with 764." On January 24, 2024 the channel is renamed NMK x 764 Announcements. 18 hours latter the channel shares a link to the now defunct @nlm764redroom. On January 28, NMK x 764 x NLM announce their alliance. For some interesting additional Lore that alliance lasted milliseconds: and the channel reverted to 764 x NMK, indicting the message was edited.

F) By February 7 NMK x 764 is "closed" by Arukk and reopened on the 11th rebranded solely as NMK. Arukk in his Archive Channel posted on the 8th of February that: "Realize 764 isn’t what it was when Brad owned it. 764 does not affiliate or associate with cp or pedophilia, under Krampus’s leadership 764 will continue to stay away from cp & pedophilia."

G) In the Arukk Archives, and posted to the NMK channel, is promoted a telegram channel called "Arukk & Acid’s shitposting" where both individuals would share news and content indicating an alleged connection and collaboration between both individuals

H) What is to note is that Arukk (aka Godvert) has ownership of the group and Acid is a key leader and is a key associate of Arukk. NMK uses the revival of Incur as a reputational accelerant for NMK, whereas Acid uses his ownership of 657 to promote NMK. Both Arukk and Acid are members of 764, while also being in NMK, Incur and 657. It is not uncommon for individuals in the Com Network to be part of or have leadership positions in several groups simultaneously

I) The first generation of NMK was closed in March 2024 following the arrest of Acid on March 26. NMK was reopened in May 2024. on March 29, the NLM Red Room channel announced that NLM was under development and the leaders are Jxkke and Arukk.

J) In looking at historical Com Network rosters with regards to founding members of NMK we can see that on an early NLM roster, we see that NLM is owned by Jxkke and that Arukk is an advisor.

Arukk is also on rosters for: 764, Incur, Slit Town, NMK, and NLM.

N.M.K follows true evil Satanism and the 21 Satanic principles. We serve under the rule of Satan. Real Satanism is a religion of evil and the left-hand path, based on worship of the Devil found in the Abrahamic religions. Satanism is also known as devil worship, diabolatry, or worship of the Devil, and its followers are called Satanists or “satanins.” Satanism is a theistic religion. From its emergence as a Christian accusation, and later as a term used for real worship of the Devil, Satanism has always meant loyalty to the Devil, his legions, and evil. Satanism is not a religion based on a theory of good or self-exalting atheism. It is a religion that recognizes evil as necessary for the improvement and progress of humanity, and Satan as its defender.

These initial posts from the creation of NMK are interesting, they point towards some of the possible groups and and ideologies that the founders have cooped or been inspired by. In particular, the content in Russian at this time, in the the history of the Com Network, points to the growing influence Maniac Murder Cult (MKY aka MMC aka MKU) and Maniac culture had in this milieu as MKY broke into the Anglosphere of the com. This was facilitated via the reach the second edition of the Haters Handbook in 2022 and the third editions subsequent release in 2023. It is around this time we see English dominant Com groups seek to coop, emulate, or partner with MKY, as well as the growing shift-- in extortion com-affiliated groups-- from primarily digitally facilitated harms to groups requiring IRL (in real life) violence.

We also see a link to occultism in point B); however, it is important to highlight that this does not directly points to O9A and the Seven Fold Way (7FW). The passage would appear to indicate someone who does not have a deep understanding of the variations of satanic beliefs and practices. What we see is the poster appears to borrow elements from theistic and atheistic satanism, left hand path, and some borrowing from the Order of Nine Angles and Satanic Front propaganda . In an environment where criminal and violent extremism activities are motivated by "clout chasing," coopting non-normative and deviant beliefs and practices are a strategic tool used by Com Network groups to increase their reputation, notoriety, and the fear the wish to instill in their audiences.

NMK Revival, New Generations, & LARPed Groups

Once we move away from the 2024 generations of NMK, we get into the complexities of Com Network politics around group ownership, who has permission to revive a group and debates around who follows the original lineage or is LARPing.

One of the practices in the Com Network is passing down ownership of a group to another. Periods of group ownership are called 'generations' (gens). When a group closes down or is disbanded that marks the end of a generation. Certain members of a group are given a percentage of permission to own or revive a group. This is usually handed down by the founder or high ranking members of a group following the arrest of a founder. When a group is revived there are always debates about if this follows the original lineage. if it does not there will be calls to claim that a group is 'LARPed' or fake. Users will use deceptive TTPs, to try and prove they got ownership or revival perms from some of the OG members of the group. This politicking is about protecting the brand of a group. Groups like NMK will often not share the meaning of their name publicly unless someone becomes an insider as a way of obfuscating meaning, while also being able to identify those who are creating groups without having official ownership of a group.

An example of a LARPed group is Nefarious Murder Kult, which emerged around March 2025 and was active until October or November 2025. The first public roster that I have been able to identify is made up of "newgens" (pejorative term used to described new groups and individuals active in the Com Network).

What complicates assessments around NMK after the original group is that the politicking in Com Network will lead to two rival NMKs operating at or around the same time as each other. In Example, in August and September of 2025 there were two versions of NMK going around. Both version of the group claim to be directly tied to the original version of NMK and got permission from OGs, that they are not 'LARPed', but both do not actually use the real meaning of NMK (nefarious maniac kult):

Any other generation of NMK would be LARPed unless by either Wock, Nate or me. These groups were run by two different groups of individuals and had different members on their 'official rosters.' Though this there are debates about who owns the original or official group, both the 'real' and 'LARPed' groups both require their members to commit acts of criminality and violent extremism to officially join. We can see that the 2025 version of NMK required both extortion or IRL content from prospective members. The competition between two rival groups can also be an indicator of increased risk, where attention and clout is a limited resources in a saturated market. In some instances the competition has led to rival groups in a competition in one-upmanship, where committing and recording more extreme acts of violence becomes a form of group survivial.

In other recruitment posters made in NMK channels we see they still borrow language from maniac culture (groups like MKY and No Lives Matter): "Nefarious Murder Kult NMK is still recruiting. We're looking for highly dedicated members, ones who don't care for the mundane. ones who have maniacal thoughts and are willing to use those thoughts for NMK. Join the terror's last brotherhood today" The use of language like 'mundane' and 'maniacal' borrows from NLM and MKY ideological and instructional propaganda. The September 2025 version of NMK was in an alliance with a Com-affiliated group called 'Slit Town' (ST). One of the leaders of ST/NMK was Leo who also went by Leo764, who was arrested in November 2025. The image below is from the alliance between SlitTown (ST) and NMK you can see Arukk is mentioned on the roster, yet it is inconclusive if that is the original Arukk or they coopted the user name for clout and to make their lineage to the orginal group stronger. However, it is doubtful that it would be called 'murder kult' and not 'maniac kult' if Arukk was truly active in the September group. This is a weak evidentiary signal, but one worth raising in the context of Com Network politicking can complicate assessment processes.

As of February 2026 there was a short lived NMK channel that briefly surfaced in the Com Network with an alliance with a group called 646. This latest generation of NMK sought to reproduce similar 'maniac' type of Com group, yet it was challenged as a LARPed group by the community and was mocked for its 'poor' content and rapidly disappeared. However, though these new groups represent a more diluted version of the original NMK, the threat posed by these groups and their capacity to commit acts of criminality and violence remain.

Tactics, techniques and procedures

A) Coerced/extorted self-directed violent documented via “blood signs," “cut signs”, "cut shows," "cut bibles," disordered eating, and coerced suicides.

B) Offline crime and violent extremism: vandalism (graffiti, tire slashing), property damage (brickings, arson), and interpersonal violence (beatings, stabbings, murder). The TTPs of a given group is to set a 'scoreboard' for entry; furthermore, all acts must be recorded and share publicly with the groups brand to obtain internet clout. It acts as a form of gatekeeping and operational security.

NMK has not created original instructional guides; however guides from No Lives Matter and Maniac Murder Cult, as well as other instructional material from the Com Network has been shared in NMK chats and channels. Between August and November 2025 there where promotional material that circulated in NLM and NMK telegram chats and channels promoting new guides. The Terror Guide and Murder Guides are existing manuals that were published by NLM, which borrowed from MKY guides published in Russian. The 'pipe bomb guide' would have been a 'new' guide; however, none of the NLM x NMK guides where ever published and only existed as the propaganda posted below.
