Observations From the Depths #2: He's Making his Listings, He's Checking Them Twice

Happy holidays dear readers,

For this edition of Observations From the Depths Santa Clause came early and brought us some gifts from Canada and New Zealand, who have listed FIVE new terrorist entities between both nations.

1. New Zealand

On December 10, 2025, the Government of New Zealand announced that they have designated the 'Order of Nine Angles' (O9A/ONA) and the 'Terrorgram Collective' (TC) as Terrorist Entities. As part of the announcement of these new listings the Government of New Zealand also published a statement of case for each designations that can be read here:

I do want to take a moment to highlight (with a little pride and a large amount of fear), that this blog of mine was listed amongst the 'credible sources' for the statement of case for both of these designations. Click on the links if you want to read my previous writings on ONA and TC

I do want to highlight something embedded in the statement of case for the Order of Nine Angles that many will have missed. If you open the statement of case and go down to section 20 you will find a reference to O9A nexions, which includes 764, No Lives Matter, and Maniac Murder Cult:

20.5 764 is a transnational violent online network predominantly comprised of minors that methodically targets and exploits children and vulnerable individuals to gain notoriety. The network uses threats, blackmail, and grooming techniques to coerce or extort victims into producing, sharing, or live-streaming acts of self-harm, animal cruelty, sexually explicit acts, and/or suicide. The ultimate aim of these acts is to destabilise and collapse liberal democracy. On 30 April 2025, the United States Attorney’s Office stated two influential and prolific leaders, Leonidas Varagiannis and Prasan Nepal, were arrested and charged for operation a ‘764 Inferno’ which they have labelled as a nihilistic violent extremist (NVE) network.

20.6 No Lives Matter (NLM) is a violent extremist network focused on nihilistic and misanthropic violence. NLM members are encouraged to commit real life violence, from random stabbings to acts of terrorism, in order to gain clout. The network has created manifestos and instructional manuals that “seeks the purification of all mankind through endless attacks”.

20.7 Maniacs Murder Cult (MKY) is a violent extremist group that promotes National Socialism and Satanism. The group encourages violent action as part of a belief in racial superiority, and motivated by a desire to gain notoriety and collapse society. MKY recruits from groups such as 764 and NLM, forming alliances with other accelerationist groups. MKY appears linked to, and influenced by, SF and O9A in its aesthetics and extremist publications.

In doing so 764, No Lives Matter, and Maniac Murder Cult are also taken into consideration as part of the O9A listing. I therefore, must offer a tip of the hat to my Kiwi friends and colleagues, who got four birds with one stone Ngā mihi nui, me ngā whakanuia ki a koutou. It also appears that New Zealand, is the first country to list 764 as a terrorist entity... on a time zone technicality.

I want to also highlight a connection between both listings as well. New Zealand used Arda Küçükyetim, who carried out an attack in Eskişehir, Türkiye in August 2024 as a case study for the Terrorgram Collective listing. Küçükyetim, was not only active in the Terrogram ecosystem, but was also part of the Soyjak Attacker Video Fandom Network, where he was inspired–amongst other things– by Maniac Murder Cult, and even shared the third edition of the MKY publication Haters Handbook as part of the multimedia dump he posted on mediafire prior to his attack.

Side Bar:

When presenting or giving trainings on this topic I like to use Küçükyetim, as a good case study of what I mean by Nihilistic Violent Extremism , as well as a quintessential example of the hybridized nature of NVE. Küçükyetim was part of the Terrorgram Collective, the True Crime Community, and Trolling Communities like the Soyjak Party forum. The statement of fact hilights that "during interviews with investigators, Küçükyetim claimed his actions were motivated by a disdain for humanity, stating 'I did this because I do not like people and wanted to create a sensation'." The 'nihilism' expressed by Küçükyetim here and in similar fashion by other NVEs is driven by anomie; a condition where people feel that the normal rules, norms, and institutions that give life order and meaning have broken down or no longer apply to them.

2. Canada

Also on December 10, 2025 the Government of Canada announced the designation of four new terrorist entities, 764, Maniac Murder Cult, Terrorgram Collective, and ISIS affiliate Islamic State-Mozambique. The listing of a terrorist entity in Canada "is a public means of identifying a group or individual as being associated with terrorism."

What this means is that Canadian law enforcement and security agencies now have more tools available to them to disrupt activities from these entities:

It is not a crime to be listed. However, one of the consequences of being listed is that the entity's property can be the subject of seizure/restraint and/or forfeiture. In addition, institutions such as banks, brokerages, etc. are subject to reporting requirements with respect to an entity's property and must not allow those entities to access the property.  These institutions may not deal or otherwise dispose of the property. It is an offence to knowingly participate in or contribute to, directly or indirectly, any activity of a terrorist group. This participation is only an offence if its purpose is to enhance the ability of any terrorist group to facilitate or carry out a terrorist activity.

3. Recent Com Network Arrests

There have been several global incidents and arrests linked to 764 and I want to quickly link to some of them here"

November

• An individual who went by Asmodeus764 sent emails threatening to livestream a massacre on Discord to the Universidad Católica Argentina (November 7, 2025) and to Universidad Nacional de Tres de Febrero (November 10, 2025). At this time no arrests have been made and it is unclear if Asmodeus764 is located in Argentina.

• Tony Long, who went by 'Inactive' and was a member of 764 was indicted in the United-States on Animal Crushing, Sexual Exploitation of a Minor, Possession of Material Involving the Sexual Exploitation of a Minor, Cyberstalking, and Interstate Threats.
• The National Crime Agency announced that Bradley Talbot was sentenced for his promotion and admin role in a com group (of note Talbot was 29 with is way above the average for the com network). Talbot was charged with participating in the criminal activities of an organised crime group, arranging or facilitating the sexual exploitation of a child under 13 and distributing an indecent image of a child. Talbots group had over 6,000 members– which is is also way above average of group and chat sizes, but not unheard of. There were more than 100 victims aged between 12 and 17, with a quarter believed to be UK based.
• On November 17, 2025 Michail Chkhikvishvili, the leader of Maniac Murder Cult, pleade guilty to soliciting hate crimes and sending instructions to make bombs and ricin. Sentencing is set for March 9, 2025.
• On November 27, 2025 the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria was evacuated following a an email threatening a "massacre" or bombs being placed on campus. The false threat is being reported as linked to 764.

December

• On December 2, 2025, the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso, as well as, the Hospital del Salvador in Santiago in Chile, were targets of threats of a mass casualty attack and bomb threat respectively by Asmodeus764, who was responsible for the November threats in Argentina.
• Carson Butler, who turned 18 in November, is facing a five count indictment for terrorism, attempted murder, and conspiracy to commit murder in connection with an alleged plot against Athens High School. According to court records Butler was allegedly involved in 764, No Lives Matter and Maniac Murder Cult, and is facing a maximum of life in prison if convicted

Greggy Cult

On December 2, 2025, the US Department of Justice charged, five leaders of ‘Greggy’s Cult’ with sexually exploiting children on the internet. Greggy’s Cult is a digital child-exploitation and coercive-control group that operated primarily on Discord between roughly 2019 and 2021. Some members of Greggy Cult like Zachary Dosch have been actively extorting victims since 2016 (when Dosch would extort victims on Skype). Greggy Cult is one of the precursor groups, alongside CVLT, that Bradley Cadenhead was a part of prior to creating 764. The modus operandi of 764 blends the sadistic sextortion, extortion and coersion, psychological domination, and networked harassment from both of these precursor groups.

Greggy Cult members sourced victims from mainstream youth platforms such as Roblox and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO), as well as from earlier “editing” and “gore” communities. Once a minor victim was identified and groomed, offenders moved them into Greggy-linked Discord servers and then into live voice and video calls. In those calls, multiple perpetrators collectively issued commands, recorded abuse using tools such as screen capture and OBS Studio, and redistributed the resulting material across Discord and other platforms.

The DOJ indictment confirms that the youngest identified victim is an 11-year-old child. Control of victins was maintained through threats and ritualized humiliation. Offenders threatened to leak extorted CSAM to peers, family members, or schools; to dox victims and their parents; or to “swat” them by sending armed law-enforcement responses to their homes. Showing the roots of current extortion Com TTPs are rooted in a longer history of unaddressed online harms.

Greggy Cult members would demand evidence of victim subjugation in the form of “fansigning” (victims writing offenders’ usernames on their bodies or on signs), “owned by” declarations, and scripted confession videos in which minors begged for forgiveness or publicly acknowledged that they belonged to Greggy’s Cult. This again is no different than what is seen today in the Com Network. Greggy Cult offenders also encouraged suicide attempts via overdose and hanging. This mix of sexualized violence, cult-like loyalty rituals, and sadistic audience participation is central to understanding Greggy’s Cult as a precursor to later nihilistic extortion entities such as CVLT and 764. Court records show that at least one Greggy’s Cult member was trading CSAM across Discord and Snapchat “for shock value," indicating that Greggy’s Cult emerged and was part of gore editing ecosystem rather than appearing in isolation.

4. From the depths of the com network

The Return of Riley

Riley 764, who was sentenced to three years in Romanian prison for distributing and selling child pornography has made a return to Com. Upon serving his sentence and being released recently, Riley went right back to com and has revived, taken over or leading several active com groups. Currently Riley has claimed ownership (OS) of the current generation of 764.

Riley comes at a time where there had been a power void in Com left by the arrest of Trippy and War earlier this year. That void is also being filled by War; the Greek supreme court denied the US extradition request for War. Both War and Riley are 764 oldgens (OGs).

Terror Week

NewGen group 'Terror Circle' held a Terror Week at the end of November. Terror Week is one of the tactics use by Com Network groups to generate a large volume of content for a specific group, which is then to be used to flood the ecosystem with their content.

These are announced time-limited campaigns, during which members are encouraged to escalate online and offline offending over a defined period of time, in this case November 21 to 28. The marketing of these branded “event” that are planned, and hyped up are used to: a) generate new content to flood the zone by new groups competing with established entities, b) used by individuals who are reviving disbanded group or when a new individual assumes leadership of a group, c) as a tool to motivate new or lax members of the group. The content, is posted individually, turned into edits, news stories about the incident are shared within the network in order to increase the groups status.

New Kill Guide... Kinda

Violent N Narcissistic (a newgen group created in November 2025), published a nine page 'kill guide'. The Document rehashes existing instructional content present in the com ecosystem and created by Maniac Murder Cult, No Lives Matter, and Saubern, focusing on the use of bladed weapons. To note, the last page of the guide focuses on recording and disseminating footage of the stabbing an individual would carry out and even includes a dedicated channel to host or be used for this purpose. Though it was posted in the main public NLM chat the document nor the VNN channel appears to have gained much traction.
